Plantation Gardens Restaurant - Poipu, Kauai, Hawaii

I just spent a week on Kauai and this was by far our best meal on the island! What made this dinner stand out from others we had on the island? A few things: Really fresh ingredients, including produce (which I didn't see much of elsewhere).Terrific, carefully prepared menu. It is short but sweet. We were not the only diners impressed. We overheard two other tables raving about the experience and both tables said it was the best meal they had on the island. I will definitely return and only regret that we didn't discover this until the end of our trip!

Surrounded by glowing tiki torches and the beautiful Moir Gardens at Kiahuna Plantation resort, Plantation Gardens features Pacific Rim cuisine with regional Hawaiian influence. Part of a historic plantation manor, the restaurant, located at Poipu Beach on the sunny south side of Kauai, Hawaii, features outdoor lanai seating, handcrafted tropical drinks and specialty cocktails, and complimentary parking. The bar opens at 5:00 pm with dinner served nightly from 5:30 pm.
